Hazardous chemicals may be present. Avoid contact with skin. Use proper
eye and skin protection.
WARNING
Toxic residues from mass spectrometer samples will build up in used pump
fluid. Dispose of all used pump fluid in accordance with applicable regulations.
Place a hazards warning label on the container, if appropriate.
To clean the diffusion pump:
1. Layer a number of clean lint free cloths or paper towels on the work surface.
2. Provide a 3" deep x 3" wide x 7" long container filled with acetone to a depth of
2".
3. Remove the pump.
