5.4.1.3 Distributor (Fig. 62) is installed in the steering unit.
There are three circular grooves «
е
», «k» and «f» in the slide valve case 5. The middle
circular groove «
е
» is connected with the channel «
а
» for the service fluid intake from the pump,
the boundary grooves «k» and «f»-with the channel «b» for the service fluid offtake to drain it.
The three reaction chambers of the casing 5 have the rams 21 which can be displaced
axially in their channels.
The slide valve 22 is fixed through the bearings 3 by the nut 2 on the bushing 9. The
bushing 9 of the steering unit is connected with the screw 24 with the splines without the side
clearance but with the option of axial displacement as well as with the screw joints connected with
the input shaft 15. The splined joint of the shaft 15 and the screw 24 has a side clearance «t». The
clearance is chosen to provide full travel of the slide valve.
The input shaft 15 is also connected with the screw 24 of the steering unit by the torsion
bar 17. The back pressure valve 6 is in the middle groove «
е
».
