Trouble
Possible Reason
Trouble-shooting
Oil is thrown through oil
tank breather
Filter clogging
Gasket under collector is de-
stroyed
Too high oil level
Oil filter is clogged
Wash the filter
Replace the gasket
Bring the oil level to the
norm
Check the unit and wash the
filter
Brake System
When the brake pedal is
pressed the truck does not stop –
the brake failure signal light
turns on
Friction linings are worn out,
the clearances between shoes
and drums is too great
No brake fluid in master cyl-
inders tanks
Replace friction linings. Ad-
just the clearances between
shoes and drums of service
brakes
Replace the brake fluid,
bleed the brakes if necessary
Minimal air pressure signal
light is constantly ON (with the
running engine)
No air due to the faulty
compressor, pressure governor,
pneumatic system faulty sealing
Eliminate the compressor
fault, replace the pressure gov-
ernor. Find air leakage and elim-
inate it
Braking is not efficient
enough – the brake failure light
turns on
Brake fluid leakage, air in
the master cylinder or in the hy-
draulic line of one of the brake
circuits
Find the leakage and elimi-
nate it. Add the brake fluid and
bleed brakes
Braking is not efficient
enough – minimal air pressure
signal light turns on
Inner collar is worn out or
fluid is not available in one of
the master cylinders
Replace the collar. Add the
fluid and bleed the brakes
Piston collars or the air
booster spacer collar are worn
out, when the brake pedal is de-
pressed air goes out of the outlet
pipe of the pneumatic booster
Replace collars
Brakes are blocked (are not
released)
No free travel of the brake
pedal
Adjust the free travel of the
brake pedal
Mineral oil gets in hydraulic
drive, which causes the swelling
of the rubber collars
Wash the hydraulic drive
with alcohol, replace collars
Compensation hole in master
cylinder is clogged
Remove tank and clean
compensation hole using soft
wire of 0.6 mm in diameter
Pressure governor operates
frequently
Compressed air leakage out
of the line between governor and
protective valve unit
Tighten joints, replace faulty
connectors, pipelines
