Rotary valve and torsion bar, torsion bar and worm are drilled together and fixed by pins
8 and 13. When no effort is applied to the steering wheel the torsion bar keeps the rotary valve in
the neutral position. When an effort is applied to the steering wheel the torsion bar twists and
turns the slide valve in the direction of the corresponding dosing grooves.

The oil from the pump flows into one of the piston cavities of the steering mechanism
depending on the direction of rotation and increases the drop arm rotational movement through
hydraulic pressure on piston surface.
Turning of the rotary valve relative to worm head is limited by stops.
