Monitors field descriptions
Notification Name
A unique name for the SNMP V1 trap notification.
The maximum length is 256 characters.
Allowed characters are a-z, A-Z, numerals, periods (.), dashes (-), and underscores (_).
Do not include spaces in the name. The characters @,!,#,$,%,^,&,*,<,> and other reserved
characters are also invalid.
Time Periods
Indicates the time period during which the SNMP V1 trap notification is active.
Options are:

<ANYTIME>
When ANYTIME is selected, the notification is always applicable.
This is the default.
■
Everyday
Unless modified, this time period is from Sunday through Saturday, with no time range
or date range defined.
■
Weekdays
Unless modified, this time period is from Monday through Friday, with no time range
or date range defined.
■
Weekend
Unless modified, this time period is from Saturday through Sunday, with no time range
or date range defined.
■
WorkingHours
Unless modified, this time period is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no day range or date
range defined.
Triggered by
Emergency Event
Indicates an emergency. The system no longer allows traffic through. Security is ensured by
shutting down all network traffic through the security gateway.
This option is unchecked by default.
Triggered by Critical
Event
The security gateway security is still working, but one or more services have failed.
This option is unchecked by default.
Triggered by Alert
Event
A security rule has been triggered, and could potentially be an attempt to breach the
network perimeter.
This option is unchecked by default.
Triggered by Error
Event
Normal security gateway operation cannot complete successfully. The security of your
gateway is still ensured, but you should attempt to correct the error as soon as possible.
This option is unchecked by default.
Triggered by
Warning Event
Indicates an error condition that the security gateway can recover from, but that requires
attention to prevent further occurrences.
This option is unchecked by default.
Triggered by Notice
Event
Situation requiring minor attention.
This option is unchecked by default.
Triggered by Info
Event
The security gateway is operating properly.
This option is unchecked by default.
Community
A text string holding a value agreed upon between the manager and the agents that it
manages.
The SNMP community name represents the logical relationship between the SNMP agent
and SNMP manager.
Host Address
The host IP address provided by the SNMP system administrator.
