Monitors field descriptions

The Antivirus Servers tab shows the status of the virus scanning engine and definitions used by
the client compliance feature. It also shows the status of the antivirus servers that are configured
for client compliance.

The Hardware Encryption Diagnostics tab run tests on the Symantec Gateway Security 5600 Series
hardware accelerator chip. This functionality is available only on Symantec Gateway Security
5600 Series appliances.
■
The Clientless VPN Failed Logons tab lists user accounts that are locked out due to exceeding the
allowed number of failed logon attempts. You can unlock locked user accounts from this list.
You can manually refresh the connection summary and active connections information at any time
using the Refresh icon on the toolbar. You can also enable automatic refreshing using the Automatic
Refresh icon on the toolbar.

Connection Summary Properties dialog box
The Connection Summary Properties dialog box shows the connection details for a selected
connection.

Active Connection Properties dialog box
The Active Connections tab shows information about the connections to the appliance that are
currently active. This information is refreshed every few seconds and can also be manually refreshed
using the Refresh icon on the toolbar.
The Active Connection Properties dialog box provides details about the connection.

Field Description
Protocol Network protocol used by the connection.
Open Connections Number of open connections.
These are the connections that are currently passing traffic.
Closed Connections Number of closed connections.
These are the connections that were made since the security gateway was last started and
have since been terminated.
Bytes Received Number of bytes received over the connection since it opened.
Bytes Sent Number of bytes sent over the connection since it opened.
