Remotely managing log files
You can remotely list, get, or delete log files. Use
to select the correct file for your specific
platform.
To remotely list log files

On a client computer, where you installed the remote logfile management utility, run the following
command:
<remotearchive.sh> list host user password
Where:
To remotely get log files

On a client computer, where you installed the remote logfile management utility, run the following
command:
<remotearchive.sh> get host user password dstDir [logfile1 logfile2 …]

To remotely delete log files

On a client computer, where you installed the remote logfile management utility, run the following
command:
<remotearchive.sh> delete host user password logfile1 [logfile2 …]

host
The host name or IP address of the security gateway.
user
The SGMI administrator’s user name.
password
The SGMI administrator’s password.
get
Gets log files.
host
The host name or IP address of the security gateway.
user
The SGMI administrator’s user name.
password
The SGMI administrator’s password.
dstDir
The directory in which to put the log files (get command only).
logfile1 logfile2
The log file names. If no log file name specified, retrieves all log files.
delete
Deletes log files.
host
The host name or IP address of the security gateway.
user
The SGMI administrator’s user name.
password
The SGMI administrator’s password.
logfile1 logfile2
The log file names. You must provide a logfile name to delete a log file.
