Configuring NAT Pools
You can configure either a static or dynamic NAT pool.
To configure a static NAT pool

In the SGMI, in the left pane, under Assets, click
Network
.

In the right pane, on the NAT Pools tab, click
New > Static NAT Pool
.

In the Static NAT Pool Properties dialog box, on the General tab, do the following:

Optionally, on the Description tab, type a more detailed description than you typed in the Caption
text box.

Click
OK
.

Optionally, do one of the following:

To save your configuration now and activate later, on the toolbar, click
Save
.
■
To activate your configuration now, on the toolbar, click
Activate
.
When prompted to save your changes, click
Yes
.

After creating the NAT pool, you can use it in an address transform.
To configure a dynamic NAT pool

In the SGMI, in the left pane, under Assets, click
Network
.

In the right pane, on the NAT Pool tab, click
New >
Dynamic
NAT Pools
.

In the Dynamic NAT Pool Properties dialog box, on the General tab, do the following:

Optionally, on the Description tab, type a more detailed description than you typed in the Caption

OK

Optionally, do one of the following:

When prompted to save your changes, click

NAT Pool Name
Type a name for the NAT pool.
Real Subnet
Select the subnet from the drop-down list.
NAT Subnet
Select the NAT subnet from the drop-down list.
Caption
Type a brief description of the NAT pool.
NAT Pool Name
Type a name for the NAT pool.
Starting IP Address
Type the start address of the NAT pool address range.
Ending IP Address
Type the ending address of the NAT pool address range.
Caption
Type a brief description of the NAT pool.
