Advanced system settings
Configuring advanced options

Add, modify, or delete advanced options
You can perform the following functions with advanced options:

Modify

Delete
To add an advanced option
1
In the SGMI, in the left pane, under System, click
Administration
.

In the right pane, on the Advanced Options tab, click
New
.

In the Advanced Option properties dialog box, on the General tab, to enable the advanced option,
check
Enable
.

In the Option Name text box, type the name of the advanced option.

In the Caption text box, type a brief description of the advanced option.

On the Value tab, in the Value text box, type a value and click
Add
.

Optionally, on the Description tab, type a more detailed description than yo typed in the Caption
text box.

Click
OK
.

Do one of the following:
■
To save your configuration now and activate later, on the toolbar click
Save
.
■
To activate your configuration now, on the toolbar click
Activate
.
When prompted to save your changes, click
Yes
.
To modify an advanced option
1
In the SGMI, in the left pane, under System, click
Administration
.

In the right pane, on the Advanced Options tab, select the advanced option you want to edit, and
click
Properties
.

In the Advanced Option Properties dialog box, on the Value tab, select the current value.

In the Value text box, type a new value, and then click
Modify
.

Click
OK
.

Do one of the following:
■
To save your configuration now and activate later, on the toolbar click
Save
.
■
To activate your configuration now, on the toolbar click
Activate
.
When prompted to save your changes, click
Yes
.
To delete an advanced option
1
In the SGMI, in the left pane, under System, click
Administration
.

In the right pane, on the Advanced Options tab, select the advanced option you want to delete.

Click
Delete
.
