Interface Configuration (Ethernet, Port Channel)

Command Usage

• To assign a promiscuous port to a primary VLAN, use the 

switchport private-vlan mapping

 command. To assign a host 

port to a community VLAN, use the 

private-vlan host 

association

 command.

• To assign a promiscuous port or host port to an isolated VLAN, 

use the 

switchport private-vlan isolated

 command.  

Example

switchport private-vlan host-association

Use this command to associate an interface with a secondary VLAN. Use 
the

 form to remove this association.

Syntax
