SEN DING A FAX IN INTERNET FAX MODE
Overview
Transmits a fax in Internet Fax mode. This procedure can also be used to perform a
direct transmission by Direct SMTP.
Operation
If th e memory bec omes full w hile the originals are bein g sc an ned, a me ssage will
appear an d sc an nin g will s top.
Wh e n all origin als h ave be e n s can n ed, " Job store d." will be displaye d togethe r
with a job c on trol n u mber. If n e c e ss ary, u s e th is n umbe r to loc ate the job in the
Transaction Repo rt or in the Imag e Se n din g Activity Report.
If th e job is a broadcast tran smission, th is n u mbe r w ill also appear in th e ke y of
th e job in the job status scre en . For th is re ason , it is advisable to make a note of
th e numbe r so th at you c an c h e c k the re su lt easily.
