Where to Locate the Machine
• Do not place vases, plant pots, cups, toiletries, medicines, small metal objects, or containers
holding water or any other liquids, on or close to this machine. Fire or electric shock could result
from spillage or if such objects or substances fall inside this machine.
• Do not obstruct the machine's vents. Doing so risks fire caused by overheated internal
components.
• Do not locate the machine in the following environments, as doing so may cause the machine to
malfunction.
• Places that are exposed to salt-bearing air or corrosive gases
• Places where chemical reactions are likely, such as laboratories
• Places where the machine is subjected to frequent vibration or impact
• Places that are exposed to direct sunlight
• Places where temperature or humidity differences are extreme
• Places near things that generate strong magnetic fields or radio waves. Those things include
magnets, displays, speakers, radios, or wireless devices.
• Places where there is a lot of moisture, such as a kitchen or bathroom
• Places where conditions may create excessive static electricity
• Places where materials that retain heat and moisture are used. Those materials include carpet,
sponge, cardboard box, or polystyrene foam (however, it is possible to use these materials to
store the machine).
• Up to two machines can be stacked. Do not stack more than two machines.
• The machine is cooled using intake and exhaust ducts to prevent overheating. Provide clearance
around the intake and exhaust ducts.
