8. Configure the settings for destination information, sender information, message, and date
stamp.
9. Tap [Send Result to], and then specify an e-mail address.
A transmission result notification e-mail is sent to the specified e-mail address after the file is
transmitted by fax.
10. Tap [Transmit].
11. If you selected a destination from the smart device's address book, check the destination,
and then tap [OK].
The destination screen displays the fax number, name, and company you selected.
If you entered a destination manually, enter the destination again on the destination re-entry
screen, and then tap [Done].
The file is sent by fax.
• You need to make settings to send a transmission result notification e-mail in advance. For details,
see the manual provided with your MFP.
• If you configure the settings for a cover sheet and transmission result notification e-mail, a cover
sheet and transmission result notification e-mail are counted as pages to be sent. For example, if
you configure the settings for a cover sheet and transmission result notification e-mail and send one
sheet of the original, the number of faxed pages is 3.
• Blank pages in the document are transmitted as blank pages. When transmitted, a blank page is
counted as a faxed page.
• The maximum size of an original that can be sent by fax is A4.
