Accessing from Outside Your Intranet
Using a relay server, you can access files stored in RICOH e-Sharing Box from outside the firewall
protecting your intranet.
Up to 5 smart devices can be registered to use the relay server function. To register more than 5 smart
devices, you need to enter a product key in "Application Management" under "System Settings". For
details about the product key, contact your sales representative.
1. Log in to the machine as an administrator from a web browser on a computer.
2. Click [Show Setting Screen].
3. Select "Application Management" under "System Settings" in "Setting Menu".
4. Click [Add New Application].
5. Enter a product key in "Product key".
6. Click [Add Application].
7. Click [OK].
8. Select "Smart Device Link Settings" under "System Settings" in "Setting Menu".
9. Check the "Enabled" check box in "Relay function:".
10. Click [Apply].
• If you use a proxy server, specify the proxy settings in "Network Settings" under "System Settings".
• The number of smart devices that are permitted to connect to the relay server varies depending on
your contract.
