Hunt Pattern Folder (E&M and FXO units)
Use the Hunt Pattern folder to record information about how called
numbers are to be routed through and E&M to a PBX or through an FXO
unit Hunt Group to a PBX or PSTN. Up to 128 destination numbers can be
entered for a unit.
This information is configured for each unit as a whole.
The Hunt Pattern fields for both E&M and FXO units are identical.
E&M Hunt Patterns
Each BV1250-E&M unit can be configured to automatically select
between 1 to 4 Trunk Groups and to service one or more PBXs.
From 1 to 4 Hunt Patterns are defined. If more than one Hunt Pattern
is defined, then the Trunk Priority features of the BV1250 are used to
configure the priority order in which alternate Trunk Groups are
searched in the event that a connection cannot be established within
first group.
FXO Hunt Patterns
The FXO Hunt Pattern defines which trunk will be accessed when a
call is processed through the FXO unit and how the call will be routed
to the PSTN or PBX with which the unit is connected.
From 1 to 4 Hunt Patterns are defined. If more than one Hunt Pattern
is defined, then the Trunk Priority features of the BV1250 are used to
configure the priority order in which alternate Trunk Groups are
searched in the event that a connection cannot be established within
the first group.
