Once a new Group has been created, new units can be added to the group;

Information Setup Wizard is used to create both types of units in exactly the same
manner.
A new unit is shipped with the factory default IP addressing information
(i.e. 192.168.1.200). Although this information can be used to establish a LAN
type connection, its is usually easier to first reconfigure the unit’s IP addressing
information to match that of the existing LAN, using a direct RS-232C serial cable
connection.
The Maintenance Console Software’s Unit Information Setup Wizard method for
doing this is discussed in the following procedures.
If desired, once a unit has been created using this direct method, the unit setup
information can be edited remotely, using a network connection.

A Gateway is any type of Oki BV1250 unit (AP, E&M, or FXO).

A Gatekeeper is an H.323 device that is used to manage H.323 Voice-Over-IP networks. Only H.323
networks use a Gatekeeper. Oki BV1250 networks may also be configured using internal DNS server
and external DNS server management capabilities.
