BV1250-E&M/E&M-OD units have several other features used for
monitoring performance and generating notifications of fault conditions.

Cause of Fan Fault

If a fan fault occurs, setting the Fan Fault to Blocking no more calls
will be processed, but calls in-process continue and are not
interrupted.

If a fan fault occurs, setting the Fan Fault feature to Non-Blocking
causes the fault is disregarded and the gateway continues to function
normally.

The default setting for this feature is Blocking

A-law/M-law Flag

Record the PCM coding and compression standard to be used by the
unit.

A-law is the PCM used in Europe and in areas outside of North
America. M-law is the PCM voice coding and compression standard
used in Japan and North America.

The default setting for this field is M-law.
