Install Interface Cables for BV1250 with E&M Board
The BV1250 with an E&M board uses an 8-wire printed interoffice cable.
(4-wire and 6-wire cable can also be used.) Two connectors (nA and nB)
are prepared for each port to be installed (1 through 4).
To prepare connectors for the BV1250-E&M unit:
1. Locate the port/connector assignment label provided with the BV1250-E&M
board.
2. Peel the backing from labels and affix to connectors that have been matched
with ports on the BV1250 front panel.

3. For each connector pair (A and B), split cable and separate the cable into
individual cores (e.g. 8 cores).
4. With shielding in place, insert separated cores into connector, using caution to
visually confirm that the correct insertion point is obtained. See wiring tables
below.
5. When all cores have been inserted into a connector, press the top of the
connector firmly to secure the cable wires in place.
Repeat these steps for each port to be used (maximum of 4).
