In the AP/FXS unit, a –12 dB Outgoing digital pad is inserted by default.
The PAD In and PAD Out settings for the BV1250-E&M are set by
default to 0 dB. The pad value inserted by the PBX depends on the
model’s specifications.
Communication pattern 3
The pad values of E&M trunk line of a PBX are set to 0 dB when the
terminals accommodated in each PBX communicate with each other via
BV1250-E&M. The pad value inserted by the PBX depends on the
model’s specifications.
Communication pattern 4
The Out and In pad values of the FXO unit are both 0dB but PSTN
characteristics may require the adjustment of the FXO unit’s PAD In (e.g.
additional gain). The PAD values of the E&M trunk line are the same as
those described above.
