DP/DTMF (TRMDLD)
Use the DP/DTMF field to record the dialing method to be used for
each port. The available selections are:
DP10PPS: Dial pulse with 10 pulses per second.
DP20PPS: Dial pulse with 30 pulses per second.
DTMF (default): Tone.
In the sample, all ports are recorded with the default value, DTMF.
DP Rate
This field is only used when DP is used in the preceding field. When
pulse dialing is used, use this field to record the rate at which the
dialing pulse will be transmitted. The rate is set in percentage points.
In the Maintenance Console Software the permissible settings are
displayed in the DP Rate list box. These values are
10 PPS: 32% (default), 40%, 48%, and 56%.
20 PPS: 33% (default), 42%, 50%, and 58%
In the sample, DP is not selected.
Reverse Timing
This field is not used in the current version of the BV1250.
Delay Timing (TRMDLD)
Use the Delay Timing field to record the delay time to be used before
the unit transmits a dialed number to the PSTN. This feature is only
applicable to calls from the FXO unit to the PSTN.
The FXO unit’s Delay Timing defines the delay before the unit sends
the PSTN number. For example, if the Office Code is 32 and the
PSTN number is 1-212-555-8787, the delay will occur after Office
Code 32 is transmitted but before the first digit of the PSTN number
is transmitted.
Set the Delay Timing value to 0 to disable this feature.
