Port Data Folder (AP/FXS units)
Use the Port Data folder to configure each active port on the BV1250-
AP/FXS unit.
The Port parameters list displays the configuration parameters for each port
on the unit.
To configure a port, select the port in the Port parameters list and configure
each of the fields provided in the area beneath the list.
Extension Type the 1 to 8 digit extension number to be associated with the
port.
DP/DTMF
Use the pull-down list to select the dialing method to be used;
DTMF (Tone) or DP (Pulse).
Restriction This value is not set in the current version of the BV1250.
DTMF detect Use the pull-down list to select the DTMF detection method to be
used by the unit; No(ne), Incoming, Outgoing, or Both.
It is recommended that this value be set to Outgoing.
PAD In Use the pull-down list to select the PAD value (in dB) to be
applied to voice signals coming into the unit.
It is usually best to use the default value for this field until it is
determined by observation, that adjustments are required.
