Delete Digits (TRKINFO)
Use the Delete Digits field to record the number of digits to be deleted
from the received number. This number is equivalent to the number of
digits making up the PBX Office Code for the PBX to which the
Trunk Group is connected. For example, if the PBX Office Code is
50, the number of digits to delete is 2. The maximum number of digits
in this field is 32. If more than one PBX is associated with the
BV1250 unit, set Delete Digits to 0.
In the sample, the Delete Digits parameter for all ports is configured
to the default value of 0.
Delay Timing (TRMDLD)
Use the Delay Timing field to record the delay timing required by the
E&M interface of the PBX to which the port (Trunk Group) is
connected.
Timing Delay defines the delay before the BV1250 unit sends digits
to the PBX. If the timing delay method is used to connect with the
PBX, use the field to record the delay in milliseconds (ms).
33
When
using Delay Timing the Wink Width parameter should be set to 0.
This indicates that Wink Start is disabled. See Wink Width below.
If the Immediate method is used to connect with the PBX, set the
Timing Delay parameter to 0.
If the Wink method is used to connect with the PBX, the Delay
Timing parameter represents the time allowed to detect Wink.
In the Maintenance Console Software the permissible settings are
displayed in the Delay Timing list box. In the OFDD.VHO file these
parameters are represented by the values 0 to 15 as shown in the
following table.
0>0ms
34
1>512ms
2>1024ms
3>1536ms
4>2048ms
5>2560ms
6>3072ms
7>3584ms
8>4096ms
9>4608ms
10>5120ms
11>5632ms
12>6144ms
13>6656ms
14>7168ms
15>7680
The default setting is 3 (e.g. 1536 ms.)
In the sample, the Delay Timing parameter for all ports is recorded as
0 for Immediate Start.
33
The timing method is determined by the requirements of the PBX to which the unit is connected.
Refer to the PBX E&M interface requirements documentation.
34
Using this value is equivalent to configuring the IVG to PBX connection method as “Immediate”.
