4.5.2  Connect Grounding Cables

An Earth to Frame (FG) grounding cable and Signal Ground (SG) cable
(PBX interconnection only) must be prepared and installed to complete the
BV1250 cabling.

Prepare Grounding Cable

The following information should be taken into consideration when
preparing grounding wires.

•

 

Determine the proper length and prepare Frame Ground cable and
Signal Ground cable.

•

 

For all cables, use IV (insulated vinyl) wire that is compatible with the
supplied crimp connector (.057 ~ 1.44mm

If a crimp connector other than the one supplied with the BV1250
base unit is to be obtained, use one that is 1.25-4 for use with a 4mm
diameter screw and terminal part width of 8mm or less.

Do not use an angular type connector.
