Forced Disconnect
Use the Forced Disconnect field to record the maximum length of a call
before the call will be automatically disconnected.
Record a value in minutes, for maximum call duration, after which the call
will be automatically disconnected. This value may be set from 0 to 1440
minutes.
Entering 0 disables Forced Disconnect.
In the sample, the value recorded for this field is 0 (Forced Disconnect is
disabled.)
Auto Drop Time (CO_ATDRP)
When a call is placed from the PSTN to an FXO unit, the PSTN sends a
ringing tone to the FXO and a ring back tone to the call origination point. If
the call setup process in interrupted before a connection is made, the FXO
unit detects that the PSTN has stopped sending the ring tone, allowing the
unit to drop the call and free the circuit.
Record the time that will elapse between the interruption of the PSTN
ringing tone and the assertion of FXO Auto Drop, using a value between 1
and 10 seconds.
DISA Response Time
When a call is placed from the PSTN to an FXO unit, the PSTN sends a
ringing tone to the connected FXO unit and a ring-back tone to the call
origination point. Once the DID (PSTN) response time has elapsed, the
FXO unit accepts the call by sending Dial Tone to the PSTN. The PSTN
then forwards this dial tone to the call origination point.
Record the DISA Response time using a value between 1 and 10 seconds.
