An independent route is required for E911 interface.

After caller’s number is sent out to the remote office by E911-ANI, it takes some time until a speech path
is established.

E911-ANI - CCIS service data are assigned only at Main office; no specific data are assigned at the remote
office.

Both AUTOMATIC NUMBER IDENTIFICATION (ANI) [A-78] service and E911-ANI UNIFIED
NUMBER OF DIGITS [E-18] service must have been assigned.

The Central Office Code (COC) consists of 1-5 digits. If office number and station number are used, the
maximum total number of digits is still 5. The Code is set in the ARNP command as RT0.
