The unit supports separate communities for Read, Write and Trap access.
Communities provide a limited level of security within SNMP as only requests with
the correct community name will be actioned.
By default, all communities are set to
public
.
The community names must be changed to match those used by the network
management system.

The unit supports up to 4 separate SNMP Managers which may be configured using
the
“managers” menu system. Only SNMP polls and get/set requests from
configured managers will be accepted.
The managers menu is as below:

Add manager <menu>
Here there are two managers currently configured which may be selected for
viewing, editing by typing the manager number, in this case 1 which will then display
the parameters for this manager:
