The local IP settings must be configured if the test runs over a C-VLAN that has not
already been configured for use by another test channel or a performance monitoring
session.

The options should be set in the same way as for the management interface (see
section 14.1.9).
If indirect IP routing is required to reach the peer, this should be set up in the routing

This command will run a 10-packet ping test to the configured peer and display the
results.

The UDP port number must be defined. By default, the UDP Echo service, Port 7, is
selected. The port number must match the port defined on the peer loopback unit.

The test state displays the current status of the tester and will be one of the
following:
Stopped
The test has not been run or was stopped before completing.
Waiting
The test is awaiting its turn to run (typically in sequential mode).
Running
The test in progress.
Passed
The test completed and passed.
Failed
The test completed and failed.
Complete
The test completed by did not generate a pass/fail result.
