A maximum number of hops can be specified. If this number is exceeded, the test
will be terminated. The default value is 30.

A receive timeout value may be specified. If a node takes longer than this to reply,
then 'no reply' will appear in the results, and there will be no IP address or delay
information available for that hop. The default timeout value is 3 seconds.
