A configuration file may be transferred to the unit via the web console using a
standard HTTP file upload.

The unit's running configuration may be used to create a file.
14.5.3.6 Send file to TFTP server

The file may be saved to the TFTP server. By default, the file will be placed in the
root directory of the server, and the current filename will be used. Either or both may
be overridden by entering a new path/name at the prompt.

Transfer complete. Any key to continue.
A status message will be displayed when the TFTP process completes indicating
either success or details of any error.
14.5.3.7 Send file to console (terminal/Telnet/SSH)

This command causes the configuration file to be output to the console, where it can
be captured and saved.
When the command is selected the following message appears:
Start capture then press a key
After transfer, stop capture then press another key
At this point, enable the text capture, then press a key to continue.
Once the file output has stopped, stop the text capture and press any key to
proceed.
If the captured file is to be loaded into a unit, care should be taken that no
extraneous text or control characters have been included. The first line of the file
should always be:
# Metrodata DSU Configuration Dump #
and the final line will include an '=', for example:
snmp.91.i=MEP16

On the web user interface, the unit configuration is presented as a text file. Most
browsers will allow this to be viewed or saved as desired.
