ADVANCED-MODE NETTESTER VS EDD
The Advanced Mode user interface makes the NetTESTER look much like the
corresponding EDD device (see below).

Note, however, that advanced mode is intended to allow occasional access to
advanced functions, and it is not intended to be used as the normal method of
accessing the unit.
Furthermore, there are some functions that are not available on the NetTESTER,
even in advanced mode. These are:
•
Additional user ports (other than the tester User port and Management port)
are permanently disabled;
•
The NT1005 does not support the FCM9005 Double-Tag mode;
•
Multi-COS mode is not supported.
Reference should be made to the EDD Family User Manual when using any
advanced-mode features.
