The start/stop command is used to either start the Ping test, or to stop a currently
running test.

When a Ping test is running, the results display shows the state of the test. The
display shows the result of the last Ping test message, and also gives a cumulative
count of the sent/received and lost frames along with max and min delay values.
The test will continue to run in background once started, until stopped and the results
will give a full cumulative display.

To assist with diagnosis of IP connectivity issues, the unit provides a TraceRoute
utility which will display the hops used to reach a selected destination.
