Remove the support tube (A) on each side of the hood.

Attach two slings and a chain to the platform at the
locations shown to prevent damaging the paint.
3.
Attach opposite ends of slings and chain to a lifting device
with a minimum lifting capacity of 2268 kg (5000 lb.) and a
lift height of 4 m (13 ft.).

Remove two 5/8 x 5 in. bolts (B) from the top of the vertical
supports, and remove two 5/8 x 1-1/4 in. bolts (A)
attaching the angle braces to the platforms.
5.
Carefully lift the platform assembly off the frame.
