a. Using a screwdriver or a coin, turn each of the screws toward the middle of the blade server

until they are in the unlocked position.

b. While you lift the back of the access panel, slide the panel away from the bezel.

Step 9. Remove all of the installed components in the following list from the system-board assembly; then,

place them on a static-protective surface or install them on the new system-board assembly.

• DIMMs. See “Removing a DIMM - BladeCenter HX5” on page 103.

Step 10. Use an alcohol wipe to remove any thermal grease from the tabs on the microprocessor retainer
