VLAN Configuration controls
Control Description
Spanning Tree Group
Assigns a VLAN to a Spanning Tree Group. The range is 1-127. If MSTP is used, the
range is 0-32 (0 = CIST).
Ports Available
Lists the ports that can be added to the VLAN.
Ports in Vlan
Lists the ports that are members of the VLAN.
Select a port number in the Ports Available list and click
Add
to add the port to the
VLAN membership.
Select a port number in the Ports in VLAN list and click
Remove
to remove the port
from the VLAN membership.
NOTE:
Each port must belong to at least one VLAN. Any port which is removed from a VLAN and
which is not a member of any other VLAN is automatically added to default VLAN #1. You cannot
remove a port from VLAN #1 if the port has no membership in any other VLAN.
Also, you cannot add a port to more than one VLAN unless the port has VLAN tagging turned on.
