Module Status LEDs
The LEDs on the GigaVUE-HC3 modules indicate the current operational status.
Table 1-10 on page 43 lists the operational states indicated by the color of Power
(PWR), Ready (RDY), and Hot Swap (H/S) LEDs.
Port Status LEDs
Each 100Gb port on a module has four LEDs. Table 1-11 on page 43 lists the port and
link status indicated by the color of the port LEDs.
Each 10Gb port on a module has two LEDs. Table 1-12 on page 43 lists the port and
link status indicated by the color of the port LEDs.
Table 1-10: Module LED Descriptions
LED Color Description
PWR OFF Module power is off
Solid Green Module power is on
RDY OFF Module inserted and not configured
Solid Green Module is ready and online
Solid Red Module failed (any module failure, including power)
H/S
(Hot Swap) OFF Normal operation
Solid Blue Ready to remove module/module inserted. LED turns on at
insertion of module.

LED Color Description
L1 OFF Port is administratively enabled, but the link is down
Solid Green Link up/activity
Solid Amber Disabled port
L2-L4 OFF OFF in non-breakout mode. L2-L4 are used in port breakout
mode.

Solid Amber Disabled port
