Upgrade software on the GigaVUE-HC3 using a software image
on an external USB drive.
CON Port

Configure the GigaVUE-HC3 locally over a serial terminal
connection (RJ-45 console port).
MGMT Port

Configure the GigaVUE-HC3 remotely over a Telnet or SSH
connection (RJ-45 management port, 10/100/1000BASE-T).
PTP Port
—
In GigaVUE-HC3 Control Card Version 1 (CCv1), the PTP port is
used a eth1. In GigaVUE-HC3 Control Card Version 2 (CCv2),
the PTP port is reserved for future use.
STACK

Use to connect to other nodes for cluster management.

The cluster management stack port link will be displayed
as “up” in the output of the
show interfaces
command, even after
the cable was disconnected. View the link on/off LED on the front
panel of the node to check the state of the cluster management
stack port link.
