The extension board also provides status LEDs and other ports, such as stack ports for
cluster management. For further details about the extension board, refer to
Figure 1-4
on page 14 . The status LEDs on the extension board are described in Table 1-2 on
page 15 .

PTP Port (eth1)

STACK Ports (eth2, eth3)
Provides cluster support, with a
dedicated out-of-band network
connection for cluster management
traffic.
Console Port
Use the console port for serial terminal
connections to the GigaVUE-OS. Unless you
requested custom factory settings, the serial
settings are 8N1, 115,200 bps. The GigaVUE-HC3
node includes a standard console cable.
Management Port (eth0)
Standard 10/100/1000 RJ45 Ethernet port
supports remote connections to the
GigaVUE-OS using Telnet/SSH.
USB Port
Use the USB port to upgrade
software on the GigaVUE-HC3
using a software image on an
external USB drive.
PPS (IN)
