About PON OTDR Tests
The HDR OTDR’s
Auto PON OTDR

tests
have the same settings and results as its
Auto OTDR

tests, with an additional feature: The PON OTDR tests can
identify splitters. The
Auto PON OTDR
identifies splitters
automatically. The
Manual PON OTDR
test lets you use the
SPLITTER SETUP
screen in the
Manual PON OTDR Settings
to
specify the split ratios for known splitters on a link. Or, you can
use the
DISCOVER
function to locate splitters and identify their
ratios.
