To connect the EPS-LD cord:

1

Connect the keyed end of the EPS-LD cord to the power supply unit.

See

Figure 223

to locate the connectors on the EPS-LD unit and on the switch.

2

Align and tighten the captive retaining screws on the connector.

3

Connect the other end of the EPS-LD cord to the Extreme switch.

The connector fits in only one direction.

NOTE

If your switch shipped with a metal cover plate over the redundant power input connector, remove the cover.

WARNING!

The redundant power input connector on the rear of the switch contains high energy and is a burn hazard. Use
care when connecting the redundant power supply cord to the rear of the switch.
