8. TP Port
8.1 What is the TP Port?
The TP port connects the Teach Pendant TP2, and TP3 to the Controller.
When connecting TP2 to RC700-D, the RC700-A/RC700-D conversion cable* is necessary.
If you need the conversion cable, please contact the supplier of your region.

When nothing is connected to the TP port, Emergency Stop status occurs in the Controller.
When the Teach Pendant is not connected, connect the TP bypass plug.
Save the removed TP in place so that it can be distinguished from the TP connected to the
controller.
Do not connect the following devices to the TP port of / RC700-D. Connecting these
devices may result in malfunction of the device since the pin assignments are different.

Extended Enable cannot be connected. Use the Enable comes with the TP.
