3.1 PCI CONFIGURATION REGISTERS
Each PCI-bus device contains a unique 256-byte region called its “configuration header space”. The PCVisionplus
loads initial values into these registers at power-up. This section describes each of the configuration space fields, its
address, and the default values loaded at power-up. Portions of this configuration header are mandatory for com-
pliance with the PCI specification. Access to these registers requires a special PCI bus cycle called a configuration
cycle. The map for these registers is given in Figure 3–1 on page 3–2.

VENDOR_ID
This register contains the Imaging Technology Incorporated (Coreco Imaging, Inc.) vendor identification number
assigned by the PCI SIG (Special Interest Group). This register value 0x112F (4399 Decimal) identifies the PCVi-
sionplus as manufactured by Coreco Imaging, Inc.. This register is boot-loaded at power-up and is read only.

DEVICE_ID
This register contains a device identification number (0x07) assigned at Coreco Imaging, Inc. to identify this product
as the PCVisionplus. This register is boot-loaded at power-up and is read only.
