Modify the Calibration Name. Suggestion: Create a name that details the
calibration procedure. For example:
50mm,10min
for a procedure that
references 50 mm diameter sources and is used to count 50 mm diameter filters
for 10 minutes.

Press the
Enter
key to accept and automatically advance to the next question
in the calibration definition. Pressing the Cancel key after a change will return
to the Define Calibration “X” screen.
7.
If you desire to only modify the calibration name, pressing the
Cancel
key
again will bring up a “Save Changes?” question. Select
1. No
if the change
was an error or
2. Yes
to save the change(s) made.
Bkg Cal Parameters
The Bkg Cal Parameters menu item allows you to define the background measurement
procedure.
To edit the background measurement procedure:
1.
Press the
Setup
key.
2.
Using the arrow keys, position the cursor “>” to item “9” in the menu, Define
Calibrations, and then press the
Enter
key.
3.
Using the arrow keys, select the calibration (1 through 10), and then press the
Enter
key.
4.
Using the arrow keys position the cursor “>” to item “2”, Bkg Cal Parameters,
and then press the
Enter
key.
5.
Using the arrow keys position the cursor “>” to item “1”, Count Time, and
press the
Enter
key.
6.
Enter the background measurement time in minutes. Default value is
30
minutes. Press the
Enter
key to accept and automatically advance to the next
question in the Bkg Cal Parameters definition.
7.
Enter the number of times the individual background measurement will be
counted. Default value is
15
. Press the
Enter
key to accept and automatically
advance to the next question in the Bkg Cal Parameters definition.
8.
Select the Blank (BkgBlank) Standard. Press the
Enter
key to accept and
automatically advance to the next question in the Bkg Cal Parameters
definition.
