Method Blank
The activity calculations will still use the efficiencies stored in the calibration
associated with the procedure. All printed reports for this procedure will reflect the use
of the method blank. The method blank continues to provide background data for the
procedure until all samples in a group have been counted. The next time the procedure
is run, the first sample will again be used as the method blank. This will continue until
you disable the method blank through SETUP.
Group Iterations
The Group Iterations menu selection sets the number of times a group of samples will
be counted. The
i
Matic allows a group to be counted from 1 to 10 times. The default is
1.
To set the group iterations:
1.
Press the
Setup
key.
2.
Using the arrow keys, position the cursor “>” to item “3” in the menu, Define
Procedure, and then press the
Enter
key.
3.
Using the arrow keys, select the procedure and then press the
Enter
key.
4.
Using the arrow keys, position the cursor “>” to item “11”, Group Iterations,
and then press the
Enter
key.
5.
Enter the number of times the group is to be counted.
6.
Press the
Enter
key to accept. Since this is the last parameter in the procedure
definition menu, the system will display "Save Changes?". Select
Yes
to save
all procedure definition changes. Press the
Cancel
key to return to the Define
Procedure Menu.
