Setting Up HyperTerminal

E. Updating iMatic Firmware

The

Matic Flash Loader Utility is a resident program that resides in the protected boot

blocks of the flash memory, and allows the user application program to be loaded into
the flash memory using a standard PC based communications program (such as
HyperTerminal).

This feature greatly enhances the ability to upgrade the

Series products in the field.

Setting Up HyperTerminal

This section contain the instructions necessary to set up HyperTerminal.

HyperTerminal is normally found under the

menu as shown in Figure 26.
