Define Report
LPT Timeout
The LPT Timeout menu item allows you to set the time the system waits for a printer
response before indicating an error. You can enter from a value 0 to 30 seconds; default
is 10 seconds.
To set the LPT Timeout:
1.
Press the
Setup
key.
2.
Using the arrow keys position the cursor “>” to item “5” in the menu, Setup
Printer, and then press the
Enter
key.
3.
Using the arrow keys position the cursor “>” to item “6”, LPT Timeout and
then press the
Enter
key.
4.
Enter the time in seconds to define the LPT Timeout. Press the
Enter
key to
accept and automatically return you to the Setup Printer Menu.
5.
If only the LPT Timeout is modified, pressing the
Cancel
key will return to
the Setup menu.
Define Report
The iMatic systems allows you to define custom reports with system and data fields of
your own choosing. There are ten programmable reports available in the system. Four
report formats are pre-defined, but may also be modified by the user.
A report can be from one to several fields wide. Report width depends on the
Characters/Line parameter entered in the Printer Setup mode. Each data field is ten
characters wide therefore a printer setting of 90 characters per line allows up to nine
fields to be printed in a report. Using the Character/Line menu item to print a larger
number of characters per line allows a report to have more fields per line.
After you have selected the report to define, the following sub menu items are
available:
