Robot Calibration Procedure

All calibration on the robot is performed at Brooks Automation by trained personnel.
The following procedure is used to calibrate the MagnaTran 7 on Brooks Technical
Support recommendation only.

CAUTION

The following commands are NOT used in the initial set up or the nor-
mal operation of the robot. These commands are used in repair oper-
ation only.

Brooks Automation recommends contacting Brooks Technical
Support before beginning this procedure.

Required Tools and Test Equipment

Performing this procedure does not require any tools.

Setup Strategy

This procedure will calibrate the robot. All current values will be reset.
Read all procedures before beginning.

Calibration Procedure

WARNING

When equipment is energized, live circuits covered, and work per-
formed remotely, the robot is at a Type 2 hazard category. See
