Presence Sensor Warning
: both the presence sensors remain closed for more
than the programmed No Phase timeout. This message may indicate that no pack is
present on the conveyor. Furthermore, it is assumed that both presence sensors
are correctly synchronized otherwise a [131] or [133] error would be generated.
[133]
PS Output Failure
: the PS Input is active while the PS Output is inactive. When no
information about movement is provided, it is assumed that the broken presence
sensor is the one which does not signal the packs entering the tracking area. The
correct synchronization of the two presence sensors is periodically checked by
counting the number of their status changes within a sampling period of 4 minutes.

Local Device Network Settings
By selecting the "Local Device Network Settings" from the Device menu, the following dialog box appears allowing to
define the topology role of the local scanner:
SYNCHRONIZED: The Master SYNCHRONIZED / Slave SYNCHRONIZED configuration is the traditional ID-NET™
network configuration in which the On-Line Operating Mode is used.
MULTIDATA:
The Master MULTIDATA / Slave MULTIDATA configuration is an ID-NET™ network configuration
which allows the Slave scanners to be configured differently and independently from the Master. In
this way the Slave scanners act as Stand Alone Devices which can send their data not only to their
configured communication channels but also to the Master. The Master can be configured to send
this data as a complete message to its configured communication channels with header, address
and separators (see Multidata).
Topology Role
Defines the scanner topology role:
Master SYNCHRONIZED: The scanner is connected as an ID-NET™ Master in a master/slave synchronized
configuration.
Slave SYNCHRONIZED: The scanner is connected as an ID-NET™ Salve in a master/slave synchronized configuration.
Master MULTIDATA:
The scanner is connected as an ID-NET™ Master in a master/slave multidata configuration.
Slave MULTIDATA:
The scanner is connected as an ID-NET™ Salve in a master/slave multidata configuration.
Other:
This selection allows Local Device Alternative Network Settings to support (Master/Slave
RS232 networks or Stand Alone applications.
