TCNM-AD/EX/SP Family Software Configuration Parameter Guide
66
Motor Failure
For TCNM-AD/EX scanners, if checked, it allows sending an alarm whenever the motor speed is above or below the
internal threshold with respect to the programmed Scan Speed.
Laser Failure
For TCNM-AD/EX scanners, if checked, it allows sending an alarm whenever a laser failure has occurred.
Oscillating Mirror Failure
For TCNM-AD/EX scanners, if checked, it allows sending an alarm whenever the oscillating mirror has not been
recognized.
Oscillating Mirror Data Consistency Error
For TCNM-AD/EX scanners, if checked, it allows sending an alarm whenever a checksum error has occurred on the
oscillating mirror onboard settings.
Start/Stop Input Failure
This parameter is available only when working in On Line operating mode and when the On Line Options parameter is
set to On Line Input 2. If checked, it generates an error if one of the two inputs (Start Input/Stop Input) does not
work.
Presence Sensor Stuck Timeout
This parameter is available only when working in On Line operating mode and when the Conveyor Info is available. It
defines the time interval after which an error is generated if the status of the presence sensor does not change
(presence sensor remains open).

Focus Displacement
If checked, it allows sending an alarm whenever the actual focus position doesn't match the Locked Position saved in
the scanner configuration memory. This alarm is generated when the focus position has exceeded the allowable
tolerance.
DIGITIZER: Motor Failure
If checked, it allows sending an alarm whenever the motor speed is above or below the internal threshold with respect
to the programmed Scan Speed.
DIGITIZER: Motor Life End
If checked, it allows sending an alarm when the motor has surpassed its factory declared functional life.
DIGITIZER: Laser Failure
If checked, it allows sending an alarm whenever a laser failure has occurred.
DIGITIZER: Laser Life End
If checked, it allows sending an alarm when the laser has surpassed its factory declared functional life.
