Reading Conditions Controller: Communication Error
It defines the message string (up to 128 bytes) that will be sent as a diagnostic message whenever there is a
communication error between the decoder board and the Reading Conditions Controller.
Focus Controller: Communication Error
It defines the message string (up to 128 bytes) that will be sent as a diagnostic message whenever there is a
communication error between the decoder board and the Focus Controller.
Temperature Sensor: Communication Error
It defines the message string (up to 128 bytes) that will be sent as a diagnostic message whenever there is a
communication error between the decoder board and the Temperature Sensor.
Laser Temperature Sensor: Communication Error
If checked, it allows sending an alarm whenever there is a communication error between the decoder board and the
Laser Temperature Sensor.
Temperature Sensors Mismatch Error
If checked, it allows sending an alarm whenever the internal Temperature Sensors values don't match.
Low Temperature Alarm
If checked, it allows sending an alarm whenever the internal temperature falls below the threshold of 0 °C indicating
the scanner is operating outside of its specifications. To avoid component damage, the scanner will enter a sort of
standby condition where the laser, motor, display and oscillating mirror (for OM models) are turned off until the
internal temperature returns to within the normal operating range. The Ready LED also blinks in this condition.
High Temperature Warning
It defines the message string (up to 128 bytes) that will be sent as a diagnostic message whenever the internal
temperature has reached the maximum level. The scanner life and/or performance may be reduced. Continued
operation at this level could cause the scanner to fail.
Low Power Supply Alarm
If checked, it allows sending an alarm whenever the input power to the scanner falls below an internal threshold which
depends on the model:
TCNM-SP < 8 Vdc
Operation at this level is not guaranteed and may reduce performance.
Slave No Reply
This message is sent only by the Master scanner. It defines the message string (up to 128 bytes) that will be sent as a
diagnostic message whenever there is no response from slave number
xx
, where xx is the slave address.
Slave Address Duplication
This message is sent only by the Master scanner. It defines the message string (up to 128 bytes) that will be sent as a
diagnostic message whenever there are two or more slaves that have the same address xx.
Slave Net Configuration
This message is sent only by the Master scanner. It defines the message string (up to 128 bytes) that will be sent as a
diagnostic message whenever slave xx has been (re)configured.
