Key Functionality

This parameter controls access to the external Multifunction Key functions.

Selection:

Enabled

The external Multifunction Key is enabled.

Partially Locked

The external Multifunction Key is disabled except it will enter Autolearn
(F2) - but only reads the Lock/Unlock SMART-TEACH Key barcode.

Whenever the external Multifunction Key is disabled (locked) this also

disables the Backup and Restore feature using either the Backup module

button or the TCNM-ACBB5 accessory display menu. Backup and Restore

can always be performed through GeniusPlus.

Locked

The external Multifunction Key is completely disabled. This also disables

the Backup and Restore feature using either the Backup module button or

the TCNM-ACBB5 accessory display menu. Backup and Restore can

always be performed through GeniusPlus.

Test Mode Data Tx

This group allows to disable the Test Mode Data Tx or to select the output Tx Interface.

Selection:

Disable

Test Mode Data Tx is disabled.

Main

Test Mode Data Tx is enabled on the Main serial interface.

Aux

Test Mode Data Tx is enabled on the Auxiliary serial interface.

Main&Aux

Test Mode Data Tx is enabled on the Main and Auxiliary serial interfaces.

NOTE

You must not be in Test Mode activated by the Multifunction Key when configuring the scanner

parameters.

Test Mode Exit Menu Timeout

This group allows to define exit from Test Mode.

Selection:

Disable

Exit Test Mode only by the SMART-TEACH key.

Auto Learn Exit Menu Timeout

This group allows to define exit from Auto Learn Mode.

Disable

Exit Auto Learn Mode only by the SMART-TEACH key.

Reset LED Reading Result Timeout

This group allows to define reading result LED resetting.
